Category: Accessory

Reduce both moisture and excess heat in your attic with this dual thermostat-humidistat control to avoid mold and mildew issues, prolong the life of your roofing components, and reduce your energy costs when paired with your electric attic fan. This controller mounts to a rafter using wood screws and has a wiring diagram provided to complete installation. As a general rule for power attic vents, your normal temperature setting will range from 95 - 115° F and humidity setting from 60 - 70% depending on average regional temperatures and local humidity levels—a setting too low will run the fan continuously, and a setting too high will result in inadequate ventilation.

This control is compatible with our roof and gable mount power attic ventilators (excluding solar vents). Not for use with whole house fans.

Wiring this in took about twenty minutes, and I love that it handles both temperature and humidity so I don't have to babysit the attic. The humidistat kicked on right after a rainy week and pulled the musty air out, which is exactly what I needed.

Finally my attic fan actually kicks on when it's needed instead of just running all the time. The separate humidity setting was exactly what I needed to keep moisture under control without freezing the house in winter.

Sofia ★★★★★

Didn't realize how bad my attic humidity was until I installed this control and the fan started cycling on its own within a day. The dual thermostat and humidistat setting means it handles both summer heat and damp winter air without me touching it. Roof decking looks dry and the upstairs finally fe
