I was relieved that the motor's wiring matched my old setup exactly, making the swap straightforward. The pre-installed 2-inch pulley saved me the hassle of trying to align and tighten it myself. My 42-inch drum fan is running quietly on low speed again.

The pulley was already mounted when it arrived, which saved me a good 20 minutes of fiddling with set screws. Rewiring it to my old fan switch was straightforward with the included diagram, and the two speeds give me better airflow control than before.

Installed this in my 42-inch drum fan last weekend and the 2-inch pulley lined up perfectly with the old belt. The motor runs smoothly on both speeds, much quieter than the original that came with the fan.
